just look what i can do!

Don't you just wanna squish those cheeks? :)

that reminds me... Funny story! Last night Britt was talking to Marnie while she played on the floor and I overheard this,
"I just love your chubby little toes, Marnie! I just wanna squish 'em!..."
cute, right? but then he said...
"till all the blood comes out..."
He was still talking in his "babytalk" voice too, which made it even funnier. A few seconds later, he assured me that he wouldn't REALLY squish them that hard. :)

Refreshed

The Before...

The After :)

I had a rather difficult time getting a normal picture... I guess that's what happens when Justin gets his homework done early.

Out of the box

We might have to change his name to Houdini.

our weekend

Britt and Justin enjoying a little "She'll Be Comin' Round the Mountain" during the sing-along at Stinkweeds (part of the Record Store Day festivities).

Britt discovered a new favorite at PeiWei... edamame! {the chopsticks weren't really necessary, but when you have them you have to use them!}

our little blessing on her blessing day

We need another weekend so we can rest up from that one!

another month speeds by...

and the stats...
*She's now 23.5 inches tall and weighs in at 13 pounds 7 ounces! I guess I can put to rest any worry that she's not getting enough to eat :)
*She is a snuggler
*She LOVES her brother, there's no one else who can make her as happy as he can (...well, I come in a close second, but that's probably just because of the 'food' thing...)
*She's started sleeping for one big block (about 5 hours) and a few 3 hour blocks at night
*She isn't super attatched to her plug. She'll take it, but it's not a nescesity.
*She likes the sound of her own voice and uses it often
*She's fascinated with her tongue and plays with it all day (when her hands aren't in her mouth)
*She loves to lounge on the LoveSac (then again, who doesn't?)
*She likes to pull my hair (funny because Britt did too, and he still likes to play with my hair)
*The only thing she doesn't like is getting out of the bath
*She only fits into a handful of 0-3 month size clothes... and she's moved onto size 2 diapers (does that make anyone else kind of sad?)

We've sure enjoyed getting to know our little girl over the past two months, and we can't wait to see what next month brings!

3-year-old + smiley face stamp + silence = mischief

I love his face in this picture. He was saying, "I'm in trouble, huh?" This being the first time he's ever done anything like this, he got off with a warning. He did have to help me clean it up though.
