He's re-discovered candy canes (thanks to clever Christmas candy displays at all the stores) so after a little convincing, he talked Grandma Tara into taking him to get some. (I promised I would get him some, but not until we have our Christmas tree, and he couldn't wait that long...) Anyway, once he got them home, he realized there was no where to hang them... well, no tree at least. Every knob or drawer-pull in our house now has a festive decoration... :)
Onto today...
After finding an ACE bandage in Grandpa's first aid gear, he wants to have his arm wrapped and put into a sling at least once a day. (I really hope this isn't foreshadowing...) After a while of "one-armed" play this morning, I noticed his arm was out of the sling and asked if he was ready to take it off... his reply was...
"No way, don't touch it! My baby's in there... he's eating right now."
He was being modest, but if you look closely you can see his "baby" Muno...
A few other funnies from this week:
* A few nights ago Britt was getting ready for a bath, and as he undressed he hollered, "It's gonna be naked in heeeeere!"
* After Britt and I had a talk about why we need to wear seat belts (to keep us safe and so we won't get pulled over) he told Justin, "Daddy, we hafta wear seat belts or a cop-man's gonna tip our car over!" {I guess we need to re-expain the concept of 'pull us over...'}
* He also told Justin the following story, "I gonna get bigger, my teef gonna fall out, I put it under my poe-low-low {pillow} and the toof berry gonna give me some money! Then I getta go buy a cowboy hat...and grow some new teef!"
Hmmm...I never realized how much Justin probably wonders what the heck I teach Britt all day. :)
