The day after Christmas we had a fun (haha) trip to the doctor's office... Of all the fun Christmas presents to get hurt on (a bike, twist car, guitar hero drum set...), Britt was climbing on a big empty cardboard box when he fell. He bumped his face on a speaker and (as we found out from the doc) his teeth went completely through his lip! That little scratch below his lip actually was a hole. They didn't do stitches or anything (which Britt was disappointed by) but he'll be on antibiotics for a while.
The doctor couldn't believe how "mellow" he was while he got checked out, and Justin and I have been a little surprised at how well he's done. He never complains about his ouchie, and even wanted to eat chicken strips that night for dinner. Which was a bummer for me, since I had already bought a truckload of pudding (and ice cream, yogurt, pureed fruit, etc.) thinking he wouldn't want to chew anything for a while. I just hope it doesn't scar too bad...

LOL! Gotta love the adventure of boys huh? It doesn't look like it will leave much of a noticeable scar, I'm an expert on that already!
Ouch! What a brave little guy. I'm not looking forward to McKay's first time doing something like this.

Gotta love that he still does his "cheese!" when he bites through his face! What a silly boy! I have also been so impressed with how he's handled it. He's a tough kid!
Dang that looks and sounds like it hurt. He is a brave tough little guy. And of course its not even a toy he got hurt playing with. But atleast he is back to being his normal fun little self!
Ouchie is right! Poor guy...he is a tough cookie though!
Oh, little Britt!! Although I'm sure it was more tramatizing for you! :D And even if it does scar, he's so handsome that no one will ever even notice. ;) Just think, it adds character and gives him a good "Chick Getting" story for when he's older. You know --

You get the idea. What girl wouldn't ohh and ohh over that!! Now that I think of it, he probably did it on purpose...little ladies man... :D
