We explored
and ate lots of trail mix
and crossed little wooden bridges
and saw tall pine trees
and played in sand
and caught a horny toad
and made some wonderful family memories.
I'm so glad I brought my tripod so we could get some pictures of all of us together. Well, all except Griz, who would have LOVED the hike. We had to leave him home though, because he couldn't come with us for our other activities, and would have had to wait in the (very, very hot) car.
Afterwards, we surprised the kids and took them to race go-karts. We're really trying to make the most of the last few days of summer break before Britt starts school (on Thursday!).

How fun! We need to do some fun stuff before school starts! Good thing we still have a couple weeks. :) Your hair is so long! It's so pretty! Great pictures.
