we'll miss your licks...
we'll miss your soft cuddles...
we'll miss the times you would bring us your rope to play tug of war, and then when we threw it into the bathroom you would have to walk backwards to get out of the bathroom, and then Jarret would make a try to block your path back into the living room and you would just jump over him...
we'll miss when you would bring your food dish into wherever we were and casually toss it around as if to say, "hint, hint... this dish is empty..."
we'll miss you laying right in front of the woodstove when it was cold outside...
we'll miss our walks...
we'll miss the way we never had to worry about you being gentle with Britt, even when he was too little to understand that dogs don't like it when you sit on them...
we'll miss painting your fingernails purple and orange for basketball season and blue and white for Lobo football season...
we'll miss hearing you chase cats in your sleep...
we'll miss dressing you up like a pumpkin every Halloween...
we'll miss you chasing us through the woods while we look for a Christmas tree...
we'll miss the way you could always tell if someone needed your warm body to keep them company...
we'll miss the times when you would lay back and your ears would flip up and Britt would say you looked like a "gonkey"...
we'll miss the games of frisbee and catch...
we'll even miss your stinky breath...

We love you... we'll think of you every time we look at your tree in the backyard...

Geez Bri, thanks for making us bawl. JK, it's a very nice tribute to Jade. I'm sure it's not the same there without her. I think we've been in denial since we haven't had to be there without her yet and this just brought it to reality.
Oh Brianna, I am so sorry. Dogs are such a special part to a family. We'll be thinking about you.
Ok I'm not much of a dog person but that was sooo sad and touching. That is the cutest, sweetest dog I never knew. I'm sorry for your loss.
Jeddy is sad he loved that dog! I loved the PC confusion my nephew would put a f on truck. My sister would always flip when he saw a fire truck.
