Where have we been??

In the past few weeks we have:
*enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL weather
(by riding bikes, having picnics, and enjoying the swings Grandpa Randy put up in the tree)
*finished some major preparations for the new baby
(we got the crib up; my mom, sister and some great friends from our ward put together an AWESOME baby shower for us; and we've tried {to no avail} to get Britt's blessing on a baby name other than his choice- ready for this??- Tallulah)
*enjoyed our last few weeks as a family of three

no, we don't force him to wear a helmet while swinging, he was going back and forth between swings and bikes

how adorable is Cara's 18 week belly? mine at 36 weeks... not near as cute! :)

So, sorry for the lack of blog posts... and for those of you who are curious, no... we didn't have the baby yet. :) We're pretty glad about that too. After we passed the 36 1/2 week mark, I started realizing that I've never been this pregnant before. Every day sets a new record for me. :) We're getting really excited and anxious for her to join us though. Throughout this pregnancy, whenever Britt would ask if baby sister could come out yet I would tell him, "not until mommy's belly gets really big, then she'll be ready to come." I probably should not have said that, because now (every single day) he tells me that my belly is HUGE and I should let baby sister out now. :) Since Britt was early, we're curious to see how much longer she'll make us wait. Don't worry though, we'll be sure to post pictures and stats as soon as little Tallulah Lou makes her appearance. :)

That gets me excited Bri! I can't wait to see baby Tallulah. What a beautiful name. Do you think Britt would be kind enough to let us have one of his creative names one of these days?

I can't believe it's almost time. Avoiding the NICU is always the best bet!! We're hoping for that with us as well :)

Can't wait to see the baby!! Did you guys decide on a name yet?
