We've really been enjoying getting to know our little Marnie. She's such a sweet and happy baby. She loves to be snuggled and she's always making us laugh with her funny faces. She loves when her brother talks and sings to her and, if you know Britt, you know he's always willing to entertain. He's even recruited her to join in his musical act... (notice the maraca)
Britt's been keeping things interesting... Friday afternoon, as we were leaving my mom and dad's house, he was picking up rocks. I put Marnie in the car and walked around to let Britt into his side. Well... somewhere during that 30 seconds Britt picked up a "flying rock" and while swinging his arm it flew out of his hand and landed on the rear window. It actually hit about two inches from the top corner on the passenger side. We stood there shocked for a few seconds, then my mom noticed the other side of the window. Right in front of Marnie's seat the window was already starting to break out. We got REALLY lucky that the whole window (which was shattered) didn't break all over the backseat before I got her out. Britt felt so bad about it, and even cried and kept saying, "I broke our car! We can never drive our car again!" Luckily we have good insurance and we were able to get it fixed for free. ... Broken windows, just another fun part of having a little boy. :)
One more thing...a funny story about Britt.
Last week we were getting ready to go to Justin's grandma's house, where she was getting set-apart for her mission. Britt asked why we were dressing up so I told him that we needed to look nice because the Stake President was going to be there. So a few minutes later I heard him talking to Justin (who was getting dressed in the bedroom) and he said, "Dad, you better dress sharp.... Obama's gonna be there." :)

Cute Britt. I love all the new pictures of baby. She is so adorable. I hope you are all doing well.
Well, at least you got a pic of the car for future reference. She is so cute....
I can't believe her hair! I so happy for you guys! I'm so glad nothing happened to her when the car window broke!
Haha, that must've been a HUGE flying rock!
She's such a doll! Do you remember what her heart rate was when you were pregnant with her? We are not finding out if we're having a boy or a girl and I can't remember what Ethan's heart rate was when I was pregnant with him. This time it's been consistently 160 every time I go. Random question I know, but just curious!
Cute kiddies!! And wow on the window!! :o That's one we haven't had to deal with (knock on wood). :) He'd better be a professional baseball player or something to make up for that! :D And the president thing is hilarious!! It's so funny what kids pick up! :D
And in answer to your comment on my blog, you'd better know I was watching for My Boy on the Oscars!! :D I had known for a couple of weeks prior that he might be there, then when he left London last Monday and was shopping on Rodeo Drive with his manager on Wednesday I knew for sure. I was just glad he didn't have a date other than his manager and publicist. I don't think my heart could take seeing that. :) It's bad enough hearing that Natalie and Paris were hitting on him. But I think he's smart enough to dodge the fiasco that is Paris Hilton. :P
Man, that's one tough throwing arm your boy has! We missed him at Primary the past 2 weeks, but I definitly understand why you are keeping him home. Marnie has awesome hair! Almost as cool as Britt's!
oh my gosh! Britt cracks me up with the stuff he says. I loved the president comment. : ) And so glad that the window didn't shatter everwhere and especially into the car since Marnie was in there. And she is so adorable. I want to hold her so bad! I need to get up there soon to see her. Oh and you too. : ) She is so freaking CUTE!
So fun. It's a little different having two. Crazy times. I miss you guys. Marnie is beautiful and I am so excited to see her some time.
Haha...love the model pose. She definitely has a career ahead of her. Thanks for visiting us. It was a good day overall don't you think? I'm glad Justin was successful in his search. You next time I hope. I don't want to be the only girl rider.
