2) What day of the week was it? Friday
3) Did you get married in a church? No, in the Snowflake AZ Temple
4) How many in your wedding party? just us and our parents
5) How many guests were invited to your wedding? just close family and friends, probably between 50 and 75
7) How long did you wait to Tie The Knot after your proposal? 5 weeks... but we had already dated for 2 years
8) Who did you hire as your photographer & videographer? My Aunt Allison took pictures and my sister Brandi took video of when we came out of the temple and at the reception and stuff. We had pictures done at Lofgreen's the day before our wedding too.
9) Did you have a DJ or a band? well... my nephew played the piano for a while during the reception (but he was only 7-years-old, so...) we had planned to make a bunch of CDs, but never got around to it. Justin's Uncle Gary made us a DVD that had pictures of us from childhood till our wedding, and it had an Aquabats song that played during it. (the song was Red Sweater, for those of you who want to know)
10) Did your father walk you down the aisle? there wasn't an aisle to walk down, but he and Justin's Dad signed the marriage license.
11) What color were the bridesmaid dresses & groomsmen vests? we didn't have any, but my Aunt made blue satin dresses for my nieces and my mom made blue vests for my nephews
12) Who was your Maid Of Honor/Best Man? didn't have any... we didn't want to force anyone to stand by us and shake hands with people (mostly people we didn't know) all night
13) Did you have a Bridal Shower? Yes, and it was very fun!
14) What type of limo did you get? well... I don't know of any limo-rental services in Snowflake...
15) Where did you go for your Bachelorette/Bachelor Party? we didn't have either... actually the night before our wedding we were both freaking out because the church where our reception was supposed to be was having new carpet installed and they weren't even close to being done! luckily it was done in time and the new carpet went perfectly with our wedding colors :)
16) What type of wedding gown/tux did you two wear? my Aunt Julene made my dress, it was a gown with banding on the waist (I am SO not a lace and beading kind of girl) and Justin rented a black tux with a blue vest
17) How was the weather? warm and a bit windy
18) Where did you go on your Honeymoon? San Diego!
19) What was your favorite part of your wedding day? I got to marry my best friend and I got to wear the shoes I wanted... and I thought it was cool that I could also wear the heirloom bloomers that my mom wore for her wedding. :)
20) How long have you been married? six and a half years
21)What was your favorite part about planning the wedding? When it was over and I knew I would never have to plan it again.
22) What was your least favorite part of the planning? Trying to make everyone else happy. I didn't much care for trying on a million wedding dresses either, since I knew what I wanted already.
... another not-so-favorite moment was when we were taking our announcements to people and I accidentally ran over Justin's little cousin's foot. (it's a long story... and I've never felt so bad!)
