accessories

I don't remember if I mentioned (here) that Marnie didn't cry a single tear when she got her 6-month immunizations... Well since she's so tough, we decided to get her ears pierced. She cried 3 tears and then she was happy. I think the noise scared her more than anything.
1st picture turned out blurry, but you can still see Marnie's face showing a bit of concern.

A good hug can work wonders.

Outside the salon (with Grandma Tara) and she was already smiling.

I decided she needed a little something else to go with her pearl earrings, so I made a pearl bracelet.

Unfortunately, it looked delicious so it won't be worn very often. :)

Any guesses what this is??

It's my Justin's very manly tackle box. {haha} Now instead of holding hooks and fish crud it neatly organizes all of MJ's hair accessories and jewelry. (He needed a new one anyway)

Speaking of manly...

He needed something as new and exciting as Marnie's earrings. I'll tell ya, it's tough finding a tattoo parlor that will accommodate a three-year-old...and he only cried 3 tears.

So cute, we just got Kortnie's done on her 5th birthday and what an ordeal, wish we would have done it when she was little, but Brian says they have to wait till they are old enough to ask for them, this the man with all the piercings, now Graham is wanting his ear pierced too, but Brian says he has to wait till he's 18

AAAAA! So cute! I'm so glad to FINALLY know what the surprise was. :) She looks adorable and I'm kind of jealous of the tackle box thing. I think I need to do something like that. Britt's face is priceless. Great post.

I love it. It is so fun having a girl and to get accessories for them. Everyone thinks that getting their ears pierced is a big ordeal, but now you know that it really was nothing. Where did you find the tattoo parlor? Isabel would love that. LOL

She looks SO CUTE! I love it! I also love Britt's very manly tatoo. Jameson is jealous.
PS. Tackle boxes have many wonderful uses. I like using them to store bobby pins and clippies at work. Who fishes anyway ;)

I think she's the cutest baby girl I've ever seen! Love the tackle box! I read in some magazine that some people use ice cube trays to organize little girl hair things. I wouldn't know about it, but I thought it was a good idea! Now, about that tatoo... you know church's stance on that. I think you better have a talk with your son :)
