At the Zoo

Marnie wanted a very small handful of things for her second birthday. One of them was, "go at the zoo and see monkeys and birds and fishes and more monkeys." After the fun time we had, I think it may become an annual tradition to go spend a day at the zoo for Marnie's birthday. Special thanks to Justin's parents, brothers, sister-in-law, Grandma, Uncle Jack, Aunt Heather, and cousins Autumn and Karen for coming with us. And extra thanks to Jordan and Kaitlynn for letting us bring our circus (and dog) to their house.

This picture kills me...you can't tell, but the tortoise was stepping on Britt's foot and he was beginning a minor freak-out.

Marnie was SO excited to get an up-close view of goats (yep, she didn't even notice the deer and llamas). She's biting her lip in this one...something that lets us know we need to watch out because...

...someone is about to get HUGGED!

and here's a hug for you too...

...and for YOU!

Feeding time for the Lory Parrots!

"Jungle Britt" was absolutely in heaven.

Autumn was less enthused with the parrots, but happily munched on the apples the zoo people kept giving her (to feed to the birds). :)

Feeding time for the giraffes.

Marnie and Autumn were just too cute!

Seriously, your kids are so adorable!! Looks like you guys had a great time at the zoo. My favorite picture is the one of Britt with the turtle. Is he grabbing the turtle's head to move him?
