End of October

During our last Snowflake visit, Grandma and Grandpa Brimhall took us to the pumpkin patch. The only way it could have been more fun is if Marnie didn't start feeling sick halfway through our pumpkin hunt. Lucky for her, her dad doesn't mind carrying her when she's cuddly.

We ran into some cousins and Britt was thrilled!

I thought the back side of this was even more adorable than the front. :)

Poor icky-feeling girl...
We didn't quite get our fill of the pumpkin/farm/corn field thing, so we took the kids to another place, not far from where we live.
We spent a day wandering around corn mazes, riding rides, eating treats, and having various other kinds of fun at Schnepf Farms. It's nice getting lost in a corn field once in a while.

Having a blast tickling/scaring his sister with corn silk he found.

Foxiest dad in the cornfield.

MarMar showing off our pumpkins (we imported these babies from Snowflake).

Little carver boy.

Britt decided that since he got to dress up for school on Halloween, he would wear a "daytime" costume. I guess he has a point...zombies are scarier after dark. So he was Finn from Adventure Time while the sun was up.

This poor guy had to put up with Marnie dressing him up relentlessly, long after Halloween even. He's sure a good sport.

The Halloween NIGHT costumes:
Zombie boy and witchy girl.

A witch isn't complete without a nice, hairy wort on her nose. This one was made out of silly putty and some brown thread.

Justin creates a pumpkin design and meticulously carves it every year. This year he went with a creature of the night.

How adorable is this little silhouette?!?
