We finally have hiking weather! A few weeks ago, we were in Tempe and took the kids to hike Hayden Butte (also known as 'A' Mountain). Britt and Marnie were troopers and made it the entire way up all by themselves. The little princess wore her fluffy skirt and sparkly flip flops, and our nature boy watched for snakes and other animal life along the way. Pretty typical. :)
The excursion to Hayden Butte turned out way better than our hike up Silly Mountain...
A certain diva walked 10 steps and was done, so we carried her as much as we could and ended up cutting the trip short. She was full of it that day...
