1. "hi-een wash wah-wahr bubbles"
(Here Britt wants you to use water and bubbles to wash his hands...get it?)
2. "Dit, boop, (signs milk) (sings..)do dodo do"
(This is the classic "bed-time" phrase. Obviously Britt wants you to 'sit' and read a 'book' with him, while drinking strawberry milk.)
3. "chirt leevs wet, mom shange"
(Britt has gotten his sleeves wet, most likely by turning on the bath faucet, and needs mom to change his shirt.)
4. "Beau, Dett, Geek, Nanny, Mom, Eye-eee mom, Ranny, Da-pa"
(Easy enough, Britt is naming all the people in a family picture at Granny and Grandpa's house. Can you guess which one is who?)
5. "Dew didge, dah-ee get-it"
(Britt would like his Daddy to get him a piece of jerky, which is practically the only kind of meat he likes.)
A bonus question:
6. "Mom, hole drawr ning, nigh-night."
If you get that last one, you win a prize! (Justin and Mom, you know it so you're not eligible for the prize.)
I hope you all enjoyed the mystery that is "Britt-ish." I mean, it's no mystery to me, I hear it all day. You could say I'm fluent in Britt-ish. Aren't two-year-olds the best!?
I just had to add a few pictures, so here are Britt and Daddy building a tower. (Brooke, notice how Britt uses the drill and hard hat...thanks for the wonderful gifts!)

very cute post! I can't figure out the last one. Um, Mom, hold the door ring? night night? Ok, that doesn't make any sense. Destroy has those same pants. And we also have to roll them down to stay up. Come on, Target! Don't use the fat kids to get your measurements! Seriously!
Aww I love that you can understand what Britt is saying. I look forward to these days. So then atleast he can tell me whats wrong in a better way then screaming in my ear. :) Got to love almost 7 month olds. Oh and I really want to know what the last phrase is but I can't figure it out. Tell me PLEASE!
Yeah, what's the deal with kid pants? Now that Britt doesn't have a bulky diaper to hold them up, they fall right off! I thought that those ones had a 'working' drawstring... apparently not.
So...you guys want me to tell you the last one, huh?
Here it is...
"Mom, I want you to 'hold' me and 'draw' on my back, while you 'sing' and then I'll go night-night."
His latest obsession. As soon as we get p.j.s on he starts with the "drawr" and it doesn't stop until he's asleep. :)
What a fun post! So, I'm Ey-eee's mom? How funny! And, my guess was the same as Megan's...so, I was a little off. :) Cute pictures too!
He is obviously saying...
"Mom are you going to sleep?"
Hello...
I don't care what Brianna says...THAT IS WHAT BRITT IS SAYING!
What a cute kiddo. He really does take after his uncle Blake!
I love it.I get the same thing everyday. Sometimes she tries new things, but I am pretty fluent in Izz-ish.
Wow, you should write a book on
Brittish language. How in the world can you figure out how to spell all those and make it sound just like the real thing. That was a fun post. I love to see what you are going to do next. He is so cute.
He's got some skills! Too cute!
