Can 2-year-olds be pregnant??

Britt is so involved in this pregnancy, it surprises me. When we found out I was pregnant, we didn't know if he would get it or how he would respond, but he shocks us everyday with what his 2-year-old brain understands. He rubs my tummy (several times a day) and says, "hi baby! how you doin? gettin bigger?" He's also started telling me lately, "Mom, your belly poking out a lot, huh? (thanks for the self esteem boost, little buddy...I thought I still looked good) Baby growing inside that..." He loves to talk about what babies can do ("cry, wiggle, drink milk, poop in diapers, take baths") and all the stuff he's going to teach the baby ("put shoes on, say lot of words, walking...") We can't wait to see how he acts when Aunt Brooke has a baby in a few months... hopefully we can let him practice on her little girl... (just kidding Brooke!... kind of...)
Last week I had my 13-week check-up, and Britt really wanted to go. I was a little nervous because Justin had to work and couldn't be there, but Britt was so good the whole time. He sat while they checked my blood pressure and measured my tummy, then when they got out the Doppler (to listen to the heartbeat) he stood up in the chair and was SO excited! He tells everyone what the baby's heartbeat sounds like now, and he does a pretty good impression of it too... He had just woken up from his nap, so that's why he's whispering

He's still pretty sure it's a baby sister, and he has his heart set on the name, "Mariokart." So we just need to figure out a middle name I guess. Well, we've got 6 more months...
